Welcome!
Welcome to my den. If you don't already know me, I'm a person with many interests. This website was an attempt to pool all my interests into a single location (and to remind myself of my many other commitments!). I also thought that it wouldn't be healthy (not to mention tiring) to have multiple personae and thus I'm seeking to centralise my identity in a blatantly open manner.
(Enough!)
Here are some of the stuff you will find on this website:
- My android app programming projects (under the developer name space.works)
- My blog on programming tips (mostly scripting)
- My OwnCloud web interface
- Papers and discussion on my academic research
- Photographs I've taken with my DSLR, particularly nature macro shots
- Random thoughts and stuff that I find interesting enough to share

[software intro] OwnCloud
You must have already noticed that I have an OwnCloud running. While setting up may not be as easy as signing up for an account with dropbox or the likes, the rewards are there.
Think of it this way:
dropbox functionality + syncing ANY folder on your machine + limit imposed by yourself + full privacy + media playing through a browser + file editing through a browser
Go check it out http://owncloud.org/. If you need help drop me a message.
Contextual Crossword Solver
I've just launched my #3 and #4 app. Basically a free and a paid version of Crossword Contextual Solver.

Instead of merely looking for permutations given known characters and word length, this crossword solver can even search based on concepts and context!
For example, searching the context "Juliet's other half" with the pattern "R????" will yield ROMEO!
Not convinced? Try it out!
UPDATES:
In the short time that I have published these 2 apps, I've made at least 4 updates each! Must learn not to rush into publishing. One of the bigger bugs fixed was that of the apps not working in ICS and GB due to changes in the network permissions. Well at least those are fixed.
